Two things: verification before visibility → every participant passes a structured, risk based review before they ever appear in a search result → and AI powered execution, where you describe what you need in plain language and AI helps move the request toward completion, not just toward a list of results.

AgileSoko is launching in Nairobi, with a phased roadmap to expand to Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru, Eldoret, Thika, and Kiambu, and ultimately to all 47 counties. If you're outside these areas, you're still welcome to apply → coverage grows as the platform scales.

AgileSoko's first release focuses on high value, enterprise grade sectors: real estate developers and agencies, commercial property owners, property management, vehicle dealerships, manufacturers, wholesalers, authorized distributors, construction, architecture & engineering, logistics, professional service firms (legal, accounting, consulting), hospitality, healthcare institutions, industrial suppliers, investment opportunities, insurance, and government business support programmes. Casual individual sellers are not part of the initial platform.

Searching, browsing, and contacting verified participants is free for individuals and buyers. Businesses that apply and get verified may have subscription or premium visibility options → full pricing details are shared during onboarding, after your application is approved.

You don't upload a listing directly. Instead, you apply to join by submitting your business information, contact person, and what you intend to list. Listings are only created after your business is verified and your dashboard is activated.

Verification timelines vary depending on your category, documentation, and whether physical verification, an official registry search, or an independent professional is required. Applications needing only standard verification are typically reviewed faster than those requiring registry checks or a site visit. See our Verification Policy for the full four level breakdown.

Typically a Business Registration Certificate, CR12 (for registered companies), Company/KRA PIN and Tax Compliance certificates, relevant licences, and → depending on your category → property title deeds (land or apartment owners), vehicle logbooks (vehicle dealerships), or professional qualifications and registration numbers. You don't upload these at application stage; our verification team requests them afterward. See the full list on the Apply to Join page.

Yes. Sole proprietors and informal businesses can apply as a business → select "Sole Proprietorship" as your business type. If you personally own a high value asset like land, a vehicle, or property, or you're an independent professional such as an advocate, surveyor, accountant, or engineer, use the "Individual Asset Owner" or "Independent Professional" applicant type on the Apply to Join page → each follows a shorter verification process suited to what's being verified.

For businesses, we create your secure account and Firestore profile, then email you an activation link. You set your own password, can enable extra account security, and log in to your Business Management Dashboard to start publishing listings. Individual asset owners and professionals receive a Verified profile rather than a full dashboard, and AgileSoko creates and manages their listing on their behalf.

Yes. AgileSoko may decline an application or decline to verify a participant that doesn't meet our verification standards, falls outside our supported categories, or provides inaccurate information. You can reapply once the issue is resolved.

Describe what you need in plain language → for example, "Find verified warehouse developers within Nairobi near industrial roads." AgileSoko's AI uses semantic search and context aware ranking to understand your intent, then surfaces verified participants filtered by industry, location, and verification status.

No. AI assists, humans decide. AI can pre screen applications, organize documents, and check for completeness, but it never performs the final verification decision → every approval is made by a person on our verification team, with independent qualified professionals involved where specialist expertise is required.

Labels like "Strong match" or "Good match" indicate how closely a listing fits your search criteria, based on the information AI extracts from your query, such as category, location, and budget. It's an informational signal, not a guarantee → always confirm details like price and availability directly with the business, owner, or professional.

The text of your search query is sent to our AI provider to extract criteria like sector, location, and budget. We do not send your name, phone number, or account details as part of a search. See our Privacy Policy for full detail.

Yes. Once verified, your Business Management Dashboard lets you create, edit, and remove listings, manage your company profile, and track leads and messages at any time. Individual asset owners and professionals can request changes to their listing through our verification team.

Verification is continuously monitored, and AgileSoko may request updated documents or suspend a verified status if a participant no longer meets our standards. See our Verification Policy for detail on ongoing monitoring and reverification.

Inquiries go directly and privately to your business through the contact details on your profile → there's no public bidding or unnecessary exposure of your information.

Data is transmitted over secure HTTPS connections, and verification documents are only accessible to authorized verification staff and, where relevant, independent professionals engaged for due diligence. See our Privacy Policy for full detail on data security.

Documents are retained for the duration of your active verified status and a reasonable period afterward for compliance and audit purposes, then securely deleted or anonymized.

Not yet. AgileSoko is designed to support secure escrow style transaction protection for qualifying high value transactions in the future, but this functionality is not currently operational. Don't assume escrow protection is available for any transaction on the platform today. See our Verification Policy for detail.

Businesses receive a Business Management Dashboard and build a structured capability profile after verification. Individual asset owners (of land, vehicles, property, and other high value assets) and independent professionals (advocates, surveyors, accountants, engineers, and others) instead receive a Verified profile, and AgileSoko creates and manages their listing on their behalf.
