Every business, individual high value asset owner, and independent professional on AgileSoko passes a structured, risk based verification process before they ever appear in a search result. AI can pre screen applications, organize documents, and check for completeness, but it never makes the final verification decision, a human on our verification team does, with independent qualified professionals involved where specialist expertise is required.
We call this principle AI by default, humans by exception: AI handles routine discovery, matching, and coordination, while verification decisions, disputes, and judgment calls stay with people.
Verification is layered, not one size fits all
Not every participant needs the same depth of review. The level applied depends on category, value, and risk.
Level 1 → Standard
Basic documentary, identity, registration, and contact verification.
Level 2 → Enhanced
Standard verification plus tax compliance, professional credentials, sector specific licences, and official registry checks.
Level 3 → Physical
Enhanced verification plus a site, office, or asset inspection where required.
Level 4 → Professional Due Diligence
Additional verification coordinated by qualified independent professionals for higher value or complex transactions.

What "Verified" Doesn't Mean
Verification reduces risk. It does not eliminate risk. A Verified status means a participant passed AgileSoko's applicable review at the time of approval. It is not a guarantee of future performance, financial stability, service quality, investment returns, or successful transaction completion. Always exercise your own judgment before entering into a transaction.
AgileSoko is designed to support secure escrow style transaction protection for qualifying high value transactions in the future. This functionality is not currently live. Don't assume escrow protection is available for any transaction on the platform today.

Report a Concern
Fraud, misuse of a verification badge, misleading listing information, ownership or identity concerns, professional credential concerns, or unprofessional conduct all warrant a report. Every report is reviewed by a real person, usually within 24 to 72 hours.
Suspension & Appeals
AgileSoko may suspend or revoke a verified status for false documentation, fraud, or Terms violations. Declined applicants and suspended participants can request a review with supporting evidence.
How We Protect Your Data
Verification documents are encrypted, never publicly displayed, and only accessible to authorized verification staff and, where relevant, independent professionals engaged for due diligence on a specific transaction. Data is transmitted over secure HTTPS connections and handled in line with Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019.
